Diversity of talent was a large part of what attracted Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s headquarters to the Houston region, President and CEO Antonio Neri said April 19. 

​“For me, it was all about getting access to diverse talent and being able to develop that talent in the long-term,” Neri said."

Rice Management Co. announced Dec. 17 that Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) will lease space on the fifth floor of The Ion, a 288,000-square-foot facility being developed at 4201 Main St. Terms of the lease were not disclosed in the announcement.
Microsoft will occupy about 25,000 square feet, but the company does not disclose headcount by location, a Microsoft spokesperson confirmed."

Rice Management Co. has tapped Dallas-based Common Desk to operate 58,000 square feet of flexible office space on The Ion’s second floor, which will be used to offer coworking, private offices, team office suites and a training room. Common Desk will also manage a coffee bar for workers on the second floor of the building.

After announcing its Houston expansion plans in June, Somerville, Massachusetts-based Greentown Labs has selected its Bayou City home.
Touted as North America’s largest climatetech incubator, Greentown Labs will open its Houston location in spring 2021 at 4200 San Jacinto St., according to a Sept. 22 press release. That's the site of the former Fiesta grocery store in Midtown, which closed in July amid declining sales and increasing competition."

Chicago-based Novel Coworking has tapped Dallas-based Stream Realty Partners to handle leasing at the historic 405 Main St. office in downtown Houston.
Matthew Asvestas and Adam Ross, both senior associates with Stream’s Houston office, will oversee leasing at the building."
